Hello most lovely Farida!  You have been in my thoughts and connections very regularly since I came to visit in the summer to take the Flower Essence Practitioner Training.   

I love reading your blog and following all your travels and experiences that you generously share!  Thank you so much for that.

I am definitely planning on coming to study the oils some time – I really got so much out of the flower essence workshop not only the training itself but making contact with you and all the other lovely people in the workshop. The week was really so cleansing and renewing and has definitely help set me on a new path.

SNM ND GRADUATE - DONNA CAIRE, NEW ORLEANS

Donna attended Summer School 2005 after depth Self-Healing, and also came on our Puerto Rico Living Foods Rejuvenation & Training twice, the second time to receive her ND Diploma, in April 2007. Her picture is shown with her Iris Mandala created during her Iridology training. I would love to bring her to Boulder to share the 3 day Mayan Abdominal Massage Self Care workshop once she has completed her training. Well done Donna. Many of our graduates go on to further studies and it is inspiring to hear of their love of the natural healing arts.

"Thanks Farida, I enjoyed your musings on the interconnectedness of our self-healing community.  I feel your energy often and hear your words spring up at times and I feel connected. 

I have pursued further studies and have now attended 4 levels of visceral manipulation with the Barrral Institute, which has further expanded the Mayan Abdominal Massage I do.

I am headed back to Belize next week to get certification to teach the 3 day self care workshop and hope to travel and teach.  I will continue with the visceral work and move on to nerve manipulation with Barral.  Such fascinating work, and so helpful in healing.

"Hi Farida. Thank you so much for taking the time to talk with me last Wednesday. Talking with you and being at the student gathering opened many doors for me.  I would like to begin the Self-Healing Module.  I feel that it might help me transition out of old life patterns and into newer, healthier life patterns.  Moving to Boulder is kind of a big step for me being that I have never lived this far from my hometown and my family.  But I feel it is what I need to do to focus on my life as a healer.   Much Peace,   Megan 

MAY REFLEXOLOGY ICELAND ATTRACTING INT'L STUDENTS

The SNM international connection is expanding with School of Natural Medicine now active in Boulder, USA, Health Master Iceland SNMI in Reykjavik, Iceland, with Mr. Wong in Malaysia, and SNM UK in Devon, England - our many international students now have more choices when they wish to experience a training.

The picture shows Hedwig on the Rocky Mountain Meadow herbal hike during SS 07. She will be attending the Reykjavik training after her marriage on May 10th in Europe and we are gifting her new husband with the first three days of the training so he can learn how to give beautiful foot massages to his bride!

Our May 16, 17, 18 & 20, 21, 22 Divinity Touch Reflexology Training in Reykjavik, iceland has already attracted Kate Bullings, a fantastic Lauren Berry practitioner and student at SNM this April of Essential Oils & Iridology, and Hedwig Leichtenstein, of Paris, Austria and the south of Africa, a passionate student of Iridology & Natural Medicine who attended Summer School 2007 in Boulder. Along with our Icelandic students we are creating a fine group to experience this work.

TARAH MICHELLE CECH ACHIEVES GRADUATION

Tarah has been in the school about five years, highly motivated to complete her studies quickly until she opened to the self-healing evolutionary journey,  enjoyed exploring and becoming an Anusara yoga teacher, building a yoga studio and teaching practice, co-creating a web based aromatherapy company, Ananda Apothecary with her husband, & becoming the personal trainer of Sakyong Rimpoche, head of the Shambala Spiritual Tradition, along the way.

Tarah graduated as a Reflexologist, Living Food Teacher, Flower Essence Practitioner, Master Herbalist, Master Iridologist and Natural Physician and joined us on the Philippine Malapacao Purification and Rejuvenation Retreat in Palawan in October.

She has also contributed to the School of Natural Medicine Flower Essence Training as a teacher by taking the students into the Rocky Mountain meadows to identify plants and make flower essences and sharing her experience with the Flower Essence Society Flower Essences. Tarah is a radiant living example of loving dedication. Her study assignments are absolute perfection, illuminated with spiritual quotes and beautiful visual images and art.

Tarah lives in Boulder, helps her husband run Ananda Apothecary, teaches yoga and yoga teachers,  runs marathons with the Sakyong, guides clients seeking self-healing with naturopathy, herbal nutrients and iridology and serves the community as a living example and authentic guide. IRIDOLOGY ASSIGNMENTS BECOME IRIDOLOGY ART

Rannveig, our very first student to enroll in the three year Naturopathy Health Master Training in Reykjavik, Iceland enjoys her Iridology assignments so much, they become art. Every time I review a student's Study Materials I find they are so beautifully done, clearly indicating how much the student enjoys their studies and loves doing a fine job - a most perfect way to learn something! I truly believe that if a person does one thing well they do everything well.

Rannveig lives in the north of Iceland, Akreryrei (sp?) and already had an herbal company before enrolling in Health Master Iceland. I am delighted to share her work with others.

She is an example of our superb School of Natural Medicine student - passionate, enthusiastic, committed to Self-Healing and dedicated to achieving high levels of professional skills combined with embodiment of the teachings.
